Know-How-Transfer

Once a year, the Foundation organises a symposium focusing on topical issues relating to the cities. Future issues, approaches to solving current problems, and the result of the surveys conducted by the Foundation are discussed by representatives from the worlds of culture, politics, business and society. These fruitful discussions are made available to a wide specialist readership through the “Lebendige Stadt” journal.

The electromobile city

We are very pleased to invite you to EUREF-Campus in Berlin to discuss these and other key questions at our annual knowledge exchange of municipal decisionmakers

The German government is pursuing the ambitious goal of having one million electric cars on the road by 2020. This measure will present considerable challenges to the economy but also to our cities.

  • How can cities create an infrastructure for 1 million cars?
  • Do cities have to provide incentives to facilitate the change in drive technology?
  • Economy, cities, or citizens – who must take the lead regarding electromobility?
  • How can electromobility reduce CO2
  • emissions in cities?

We are very pleased to invite you to EUREF-Campus in Berlin to discuss these and other key questions at our annual knowledge exchange of municipal decisionmakers.
