Know-How-Transfer

Once a year, the Foundation organises a symposium focusing on topical issues relating to the cities. Future issues, approaches to solving current problems, and the result of the surveys conducted by the Foundation are discussed by representatives from the worlds of culture, politics, business and society. These fruitful discussions are made available to a wide specialist readership through the “Lebendige Stadt” journal.

Congress 2022

September 28-29 - Pandemic, Climate Change, Digitalisation,
Humboldt Forum / Berlin

The theme of this year's congress is
"Pandemic, climate change, digitalisation - cities in the process of transformation".

Between disruption and resilience - Germany is facing extensive but also necessary changes: The Corona pandemic and the floods have revealed weaknesses like a burning glass, especially in the area of digitalisation and climate protection. But what do cities and municipalities have to do concretely to improve? And how do they take the people with them? A comprehensive programme with top-class speakers and exciting discussions awaits you at the Humboldt Forum in Berlin.Between Disruption and Resilience - Germany is facing extensive, but also necessary changes: The Corona pandemic and the floods have highlighted weaknesses like a burning glass, especially in the areas of digitalisation and climate protection.
